When does a GIF go from being funny to being cringe? I believe that there are 3 categories of GIFs.

Going further right the GIFs will become cringer and lose all their comedic value. Any message they may be attempting to convey is completely lost. Lets go through them one by one, shall we?

Many GIFs on the internet come from Television and Movies. These make up the majority of Close to the event horizon. In rare cases, these GIFs may come directly from the publishers of said media.
